This site is but a small snippet of my work.

Through many years travelling and developing my photography skills, through ever diversified outback and urban locations, a passion for capturing my surrounds grows from of my love for the Australian landscape. I seek out small, unseen details. Or fleeting moments of the wider landscape, amazing because it was able to be captured at just the right moment in time. I hope you enjoy my photos.

Central Victorian Paddocks

September 2011. I think everyone (who likes going on country drives!) has seen a bright yellow Canola field in flower, and the market is at saturation point with photos of them, but it really is a captivating seasonal experience, arriving suddenly in spring. I thought this was a worthwhile perspective nonetheless.
Throughout the goldfields region are relics of a long history of small settlements from the 1800's. This small home was still standing proud, made with carefully stacked stones. The roof, long gone, has given light to the growth of an immense blackberry plant growing in its centre. From atop the walls a fantastic stream of light shone through where the doors and window once were.
