This site is but a small snippet of my work.

Through many years travelling and developing my photography skills, through ever diversified outback and urban locations, a passion for capturing my surrounds grows from of my love for the Australian landscape. I seek out small, unseen details. Or fleeting moments of the wider landscape, amazing because it was able to be captured at just the right moment in time. I hope you enjoy my photos.

Explorations Fitzroy

Fitzroy and Brunswick 2010. What with the amazing weather today, i cant say i feel jealous of these summer photos, but i'm sure tomorrow will be back to winter, then everyone will be happy to think of warmer times again. Always nice to explore quiet streets, and find quirks from an building era long ago. Solid and beautiful, i love that we have so many terrace houses in the quiet inner suburbs. That is all.

That ONE guy!

Bluesfest Byron Bay 2009. Flashback to a stunning series of performances at the 2009 East Coast Bluesfest, in Byron Bay. Of the hundreds of BIG bands, one humble quirky guy stole the show; That One Guy and his epic abilities on his home crafted 'magic pipe'. Swinging from metal to the grooviest beats and loops, no one was still or quiet, and just to be sure he had our full attention...how about card tricks....levitating hats and hey a magic boot as well. Hope he's back in Oz soon.

Windfarm Elegance and Beauty

Learmonth and Sandy Bay Windfarms 2009. I am absolutely enchanted by windfarms, both by the elegant, tall, luminously white structure they form in the landscape, but also to the important representation of some hope on the horizon of a progressive, non coal dependant future. These two Windfarms are located at Learmonth near Ballarat, and Sandy Bay, in East Gippsland.

Stawell, Victoria. 2010. Home on the farm. Autumn weather, foggy mornings and wonderful sun above. Everything is wet and cold and beautiful. Allocasaurina with dew drops. .

Business Card Workings

First meaningful blog post - the getting myself out there in the wider world post. A 'facebook business' page came first, and its still the best for looking at a large collection of my work; Find it Here. But this will all look nicer in the end and hopefully you may come across it, feel free to linger, comment, or consider how something may look on your own wall....This week i have been playing with business card ideas, this is the main contender right now.
